THE CLIENT: THE OLD GLOBE
A San Diego Icon and National Treasure.
Founded in 1935, The Old Globe is a Tony Award-winning regional theatre located in San Diego’s Balboa Park. Recognized as one of America’s leading theatrical institutions, The Globe presents a year-round lineup of plays, musicals, and educational programs across three stages. In 2018, The Old Globe partnered with San Diego-based creative agency Mance Creative for our theatrical marketing experience, creative expertise, and collaborative approach.
THE CHALLENGE:
Big Productions. Tight Deadlines. High Expectations.
With multiple productions and programs throughout the year, The Old Globe needed a dependable creative partner to support its fast-paced marketing demands. From print and digital advertising to brochures, direct mail, promotional campaigns, theatre signage, and annual reports, every project required fresh creative thinking, consistent branding, and quick turnarounds, often with overlapping deadlines. The challenge was finding a team that could manage it all seamlessly while maintaining the high creative standards expected of one of America’s leading regional theatres.
THE SOLUTION:
A Creative Partnership Built to Perform.
Mance Creative became an extension of The Old Globe’s marketing team, providing ongoing graphic design, creative direction, and marketing support across a wide range of theatrical productions and special projects.
Since 2018, our collaboration has been built on creativity, communication, and a shared passion for the performing arts. Together, we’ve helped bring countless projects to life, connecting audiences with unforgettable theatrical experiences.
For us, great design goes beyond how something looks. For every visual we produce, it’s about telling stories that connect with people, building lasting relationships, and helping organizations like The Old Globe make an even greater impact in our community.
